No however I'm very confident that motion smoothing is not available in a computer monitor. It is deliver through the video processor. The process works by adding a latency (overlap) as each frame is transitioned. This is an excellent monitor for emails, word processing and computer coding tasks. It isn't really designed for watching videos but still does a great job.

My colors are also off. When light grey and pink are next to each other I can barely tell the difference. When I move the window from the external monitor back to my MacBook Air it's dramatically different. On the MacBook I can see the distinction between the colors. I wonder if there is a color profile I can install to address this?

I am using two of these with a 15inch MacBook Pro... one of the monitors runs on it's own power and the other one through my laptop... how much does it draw, I don't know since the laptop is always plugged in... but both monitors run fine with this configuration... Hope this helps...
