I use this 14" monitor primarily as a display for my home security camera system (6 POE cameras into NVR with HDMI output) with excellent results. Compared with traditional 'computer monitors' it's a little more expensive vs smaller 7" to 12" screens normally used for security systems, but this monitor has better resolution and compact footprint I needed, and it has a built-in adjustable stand. Since my cameras are capable of 4K, I didn't want a low-res monitor (less than 1080) as the weak-link, and it beautifully handles all the various camera view options (single, quad, 8th, 9th). Of course another benefit of this monitor is portability when needed, I can easily unplug from my desk at home and put in my regular laptop briefcase. The only downside for me is needing a HDMI to mini-HDMI converter, and I wish there was a regular-sized HDMI input on the kickstand as there seems to be enough room to accommodate, but this doesn't take away from the overall excellent performance, features, quality, portability, and value of this monitor. Highly recommended.

Brightness and image quality is very high. Easy to use and transport. I bought the case separately with this. Annoying however that the monitor cannot hold a charge by itself - must always be connected to power source. Not a big deal since most places you would use a 2nd monitor probably have a power source nearby, but the connecting cord is VERY VERY short. You definitely need a range extender to be able to use this functionally in most environments

Currently running a G9 as my primary, had a stacked 32 inch on top but it was too high so I decided to get a smaller monitor to mount under my primary, just to run discord on while gaming.The adjustable tilt is a nice feature as you can lean it all the way back and it won't fall over.400 nits is not very bright and it is only 1080p but as a 2nd display just for discord it works very well.I can see this being pretty useful for those on the go as well. But if you need a smaller monitor at an odd angle this is a great solution.

I ordered this monitor for a trip where I needed to work remotely. It was a great companion to my smaller-screen laptop and made working much more efficient than just my laptop. It's really lightweight and has adjustable sound/brightness. It also didn't add any bulk to my luggage which is exactly what I was looking for.This is a great company to purchase from - their customer service is top notch. I reached out to them about a carry case after reading a previous review and they sent one with no questions asked, for free! I also had a concern with the noise coming from the fan and once I was back from my trip they sent me a new monitor to test. They were very keen to solving the issue. The new screen had slightly less noise coming from the fan and after a while you barely notice it. Being at the price point it is, I was fine with it.I would highly recommend this screen if you're in the market for an affordable travel-friendly low-bulk second screen.

GREAT portable monitor. I couldn't figure out how to make the screen brighter, but I didn't mind. The quality was fine; it wasn't exactly high definition, but again I did not mind since I was looking for something cheap to take with me to work or when visiting family for the weekend. I love how it had a base so that you can adjust the angle, very good feature. Price wasn't bad, just look for discounts/sales. I ultimately returned because I liked how the other competitors included a cover with their monitors (this one doesn't come with a cover). It's straightforward plug and play, my laptop can power the monitor without the monitor itself needing to be plugged into an outlet. The length of this monitor is perfect for composing; I work with Logic Pro, so the length is perfect to provide me a nice, long view of my workstation. It's also very thin, which made me nervous when handling it since I felt like it could break or snap. It's very sturdy, so you need not worry, but just know it's thin!

I use this monitor mainly as a third display for my desktop, but I do often take it with me for my Surface tablet. It works pretty well overall. The brightness is limited depending on where you plug it in at. If you use a laptop port, it might now get the full power needed. I keep it plugged into my monitor's USB C port, and it gets enough power.It's color accurate enough, and it's actually better than a Dell monitor I own (so browns actually look brown instead of orange). I don't have a lot of experience with portable monitors, but, considering the price, this definitely feels like a good option.

It needs power from a usb-c connection. So if you have a mac, it can draw power from that using the usb-c connection. If you have a PC that doesn't have a usb-c port, you'll need to attach the hdmi cable to your computer for video and then plug the usb-c into another power source (a wall outlet)
